“Clothes mean nothing until someone lives in them”

- Marc Jacobs

Costume Design, at its core, is the study of human kind.

Brittany has always been a storyteller. As a costume designer & wardrobe stylist, she sees costuming as a way to express the human experience through storytelling. How any person presents themselves, whether a conscious decision or not, gives us visual cues into their lives and the world in which they exist. Our job as designers is to tell these stories through clothing, whether the viewer notices a “costume” or not.

With a background in performance - over 25 years as a dancer and model, she has a deep understanding of the creative process from both sides of the camera and can easily identify and accommodate talent’s needs.

Spanning over 15 years of experience across multiple mediums, Brittany has designed for film, television, commercial, music videos, and live events. Notably, she recently helmed design for the period recreation show History’s Greatest Escapes with Morgan Freeman S2, spanning true stories across multiple centuries. She also designs for the hit children’s characters Blippi & Meekah, creating costumes that have been turned into toys and Halloween costumes enjoyed by families world-wide.

She has dressed thousands of characters on screen, including celebrities Ethan Hawke, James Caan, Dave Bautista, Vivica A. Fox, Steve Zahn, Danny Trejo, William Fichtner, Donna Mills, Chad Lowe, Martin Kove, Eileen Davidson, Willie Garson, Paul Walter Hauser, Michael Madsen, Dee Wallace, NFL stars Rob Gronkowski, Terrell Owens, and many many more.

Brittany holds a Bachelor of Science in Fashion Design from Drexel University, as well as minors in Art History and French.
